Bushfire doesn't delete any Safari data under macOS Mojave or Catalina ?!

Apple has introduced new security policies for apps since operating system macOS Mojave, which prevent them from accessing data in the user's library folder.

To be able to access this data, the app must be explicitly authorised for access. The following video shows you how this works . . .

However, if you have already deactivated System Integrity Protection, you don't need the setting shown in the video!

Apple > macOS > Mojave (10.14) > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access

Apple > macOS > Catalina (10.15) > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access

Safari is connected to your iCloud?

If the Safari browser is connected to your iCloud,

no Safari Data can be deleted from Bushfire.

You need to deactivate iCloud sync!

Deactivate syncing Safari Data to iCloud | System Preferences > iCloud

System Preferences > iCloud
